At the Southover Partnership, we support our students by using universal, targeted and specialist speech and language therapy intervention.

We believe that communication is the key in one’s everyday life, and therefore we are committed to support our students in this area. The interventions take place during the school day for students who have difficulties with communication, social interaction and life skills.

Prior to engaging, in either 1:1 or group interventions, students may receive baseline assessments to identify areas of need which include but are not limited to speech and language therapy.

Although the general goal is to promote speech and language skills, all students have a specific targets and learning area goals that they work towards with the support of staff.
